A seedling specialist from Kitale town, Trans Nzioa county, is the latest millionaire in town after winning KSh 23,829,131 Sportpesa jackpot.
Francis Kaguri who specializes in planting seedlings was awarded with the cheque from Sportpesa, and expressed his joy at winning such a huge amount of money.
Kaguri who is single said he will use the money to transform his life.
He narrated how he joined Sportpesa betting in 2015 after he was introduced by his brother, James Ndungu, who he saw win some money.
He had early on won KSh 15,000 but little did he know his good days were waiting for him.
Kaguri says he supports Thika United in the Kenyan premier league and Barcelona in the Spanish league, La Liga.
Kaguri says that everybody stands a chance of becoming a million if they master the art of betting.
A month ago, three SportPesa customers won KSh 10 million after predicting 13 matches correctly in the first week of June.
The jackpot was valued at KSh10 million and was shared equally among them.
On Wednesday, June 8, two of the winners collected their cheques and revealed how they would spend the money.
The first winner, Phineas Kaberia, hailed from Maua, Meru. He is in the business of buying and selling miraa. He was introduced to SportPesa by a friend.
Kaberia said his favourite bets are multibets and jackpot bets.
Cliff Ogechi, the second winner, lives in Narok and is a teacher by profession.
He is married and with one child. He joined SportPesa in November 2015 after seeing his friends win money.
