CORD leader Raila Odinga has joined Mudavadi and other world leaders whoc are currently camping in the United States to attend the Democratic Party Convention in Philadelphia.
The Coalitions for Reforms and Democracy party leader left the country on saturday July 24 for the US where he will be participating in the meetings alongside one of his political rivals Musali Mudavadi of the Amani National Congress (ANC).
US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who is chairing the convention between July 25-July 28, invited the leaders and is set to make history as the most powerful woman in the united states history.

The most important part of the meeting accordinh to reports, will be on Friday 29th July starting at 12 noon where the theme will be “The importance of Democracy in Africa” and African leaders are expected to participate in large numbers.
The trip to the US comes only a few days after the cord leader concluded his much anticipated tour of the western kenya, where he was expected to strengthen his party’s dominance in the region.
Recent US election polls have shown a tight competition btween Hillary Clinton and Her rival Donald Trump, who has received much critisism for his comments, with some seeing them as racist.
