Former politician from Uasin Gishu Jackson Kiborwas was on Tuesday caught on camera hacking away at a City Council clamp on his vehicle in Eldoret Town.
The former KANU Chairman who is currently a prominent farmer in the town had his vehicle clamped for failure to pay a Sh 100 council parking fee.
Yesterday, a video was shared on social media by blogger and activist Robert Alai showing the farmer hacking at the clamp with a hacksaw as a crowd gathered to watch.
One of the local residents even offered to help Mr.Kibor to cut it off.
Just two months ago, the politician took his six sons to court accusing them of grabbing his 1,250 acres land.
Robert Alai wrote
“Earlier today, the Toyota V8 SUV of former KANU chairman and business tycoon Jackson Kibor was clamped for not paying Ksh 100 in Eldoret, he cut the clamp and drove off. Such impunity must be condemned by all. How will our local authorities survive when we can’t pay the rates? This is impunity!!!!”
