Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has been summoned to appear in court to explain why the Mombasa Republican Council (MRC) leader Omar Hamisi Mwamnuadzi missed court on 15th of August.
According to reports, the MRC leader failed to appear in court in a hearing case against him for firearm possession and several rounds of ammunition.
The warrant for his arrest have been issued by the judge which will be carried out by Kwale County Criminal Investigations Officer.
Mike sonko stood with Hamisi during his trial and is now being required to reveal his whereabouts.
The kenya government declared MRC an illegal back in 2008 and started operation to bring down its activities.
MRC which was advertising with its slogan “pwani si Kenya’ wanted independence from the republic of Kenya.
