Manchester City and its rival Chelsea share a transfer target as they look to reinforce their squads for next season. The Gabonese player at Borussia Dortmund, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is in their sights, per The Mirror.
These sides are willing to pay 78 million euros (£65m) for the striker according to the same source. Auba is 27 and has scored 87 goals in 152 games with the club, where he has a contract until June 2020. He was close to signing for Real Madrid this summer.
Dortmund, however, aren’t keen on selling, having lost several heavyweights in the squad, including Henrik Mkhitaryan to Man United and Mats Hummels to Bayern Munich.
PSG have shown interest in Auba too, who previously played for four French sides, Dijon, Lille, Mónaco and Saint-Étienne. Although his preference is a move to Madrid, Auba could be tempted by the Premier League too.
